The AGM is taking place this weekend, the 19th and 20th May, and will host a presentation given by Dr. Michael Harty, T.D on his vision for Ireland’s health service. The presentation will then be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Dr. Andrew Jordan with Dr. Lucia Gannon, Dr. Emmet Kerin and Dr. Liam Glynn.

The presentation and discussion will provide an opportunity for NAGP members to hear from key people about what their hopes and aspirations for healthcare are, and how it will impact General Practice.

Dr. Michael Harty will discuss the following topics:

  • How General Practice will be an integral part of a new health system
  • Integrated care between primary and secondary care
  • New legislation which will underpin these changes and will ensure governance and accountability.

The floor will then be open to delegates to ask Dr. Harty and the panel questions. All NAGP members are encouraged to attend to be part of the conversation of what the future of health care will look like.

The AGM is taking place this Friday and Saturday, the 19th and 20th May, in the Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth. Register here.
