At our AGM this weekend, a number of changes to our National Council were announced.

Dr Shane Corr, Dr Michael Fay, Dr Lucia Gannon and Dr Yvonne Williams have stepped down from the National Council. We thank them for their commitment during their time and wish them continued success and happiness.
We have six newly elected Council Members. Dr Enda Ryan (Merrion Road Dublin), Dr Noelle Quann (Cappoquin Co. Waterford) and Dr Brid Walsh (Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry). We also welcome Dr Sarah Geoghegan Murray (from Kildare, training in Dublin), Dr Máirtin O’Maoiláin (from Galway, training in Galway) and Dr Aidan Kehoe (from Wexford, training in Donegal), who are GP trainees.
Our new Council members represent a cross section of our membership today (urban practices, single handed, rural practices, GP trainees, female) and we believe they have the determination and commitment to make a difference. We are delighted that all six members will join the National Council and we look forward to their views and commitment to represent all members.

You are all very welcome and we look forward to your contribution to the NAGP on behalf of all our members.
